An epic Tail of Adventure! Can one gallant mouse find the Heartstone and save her homeland from destruction?
A fully illustrated and brilliantly readable adventure full of magic and prophecy, quests, heroism and loyal friendship - the world of Bravepaw will hook young readers until the very last page. This is the stuff of legend.
Titch has always longed for adventure - just like the gallant mouse hero Bravepaw in all her favourite stories.
But she is the smallest mouse in her family, living in a peaceful little village where nothing exciting ever happens . . . until DIRE TROUBLE comes to the Plateau!
Titch and her best friend Huckleberry must set out on a DANGEROUS QUEST to take the Heartstone to repair the crack in the heart of Alluria before the whole world breaks apart.
Can Titch ever hope to live up to the legend of Bravepaw?
Titch is a small mouse who lives in a quiet village with her family and friends, where she helps look after the pufflings. Nothing interesting happens there, but Titch loves the stories of old, where Bravepaw fended off the monsters and saved the village, and she pretends to do just that with her own sword.
You can imagine her surprise when a real-life warrior, Prince Vetiver, arrives on a glider with Curseworms in tow that threatens them all.
Somehow, the wooden staff with the gem that the warrior is carrying seems to work magically for Titch, although she has no idea how or why. Could she be the next Bravepaw after all?
But the threat of the Curseworms still linger, and when Titch finds out that the gem is the Heartstone that was once on Bravepaw’s sword, she cannot believe it. It’s what the Curseworms want, but it is also the key to saving Alluria. Maybe this is her chance to be brave after all?
Titch and her best friend, Huckleberry, together with little Dollop the puffling, find themselves in the dark forest with Grabbers and a Giant Eaglebear. How are they going to get out of this and save everyone?
This is a fabulous, magical adventure story that sees two friends on a quest to save everyone and everything that they love. It is about believing in yourself and, with the help of your friends, having courage and being brave. It will be enjoyed by those in lower and middle primary.
