Felix hates getting out of bed on Mondays, it’s the worst day. He is also over his little brother Olly, and his ridiculous jokes that drive Felix mad. He escapes to the shower so he doesn’t have to listen anymore. He turns on the shower and gets in, peace at last!But suddenly the shower makes an awful noise and he finds himself naked in the middle of a field. A medieval battle is raging and he is stuck in the middle of it with no clothes....Where on earth is he?
Quickly escaping the battlefield, he finds a house with clothes on the line and quietly borrows them. That’s when he meets the owner of the clothes, Noah, and his twin sister, Elsie. They befriend Felix and agree to help him get home, but first they are going to the village fair where they have food and dancing and dragons! Can Felix find his way home? Or will he be stuck in the past for ever?
This is a wonderful book that will transport readers into this fantasy world, complete with dragons, a mystery to solve, and lots of fun! Felix is a fantastic character, and his friendship with Noah and Elsie is a highlight. I’m sure that readers will be eagerly awaiting the next instalment, and that this series will be a surefire favourite with middle to upper primary readers.
