Following on from the regional final of the Battle of the Bands, Emo and the Death Metal Emo Elves find themselves coming up against Gunter Gloop and the Goth Goblins in the State Final.
But after a disastrous performance in the lead up to the final, Emo feels like he has let everyone down. So when a mysterious character emerges and tells Emo that if he has The Magic Pick Of Awesomeness then everything will be fine, Emo jumps at the chance...
The only problem is he must undertake a perilous journey. Emo is prepared to do anything for his band, and so off he goes!
Can Emo return with the Magic Pick and help his band win, or has he been sent on a useless search?
