This is a terrific graphic novel from two Australian creators, Trent Jamieson and Brent Wilson.
This laugh-out-loud adventure follows our would-be super group - Frog, Log and Dave - who decide to branch out to becoming delivery drivers when their instruments are destroyed. The first job they take seems to be paying particularly well, but that’s good, isn’t it?
It is a delivery from Count Evil von Evil to deliver to the Town Hall, and they take it not knowing that inside is a Pollutobomb - sure to ruin the sweet smelling and pure air of the city, as well as the city’s chance to be named the World’s Cleanest City. Luckily, they have Jeremy the duck on their team!
Funny, short chapters, with a sequel already announced, this series is so easy to read that it can be enjoyed by emerging readers, all the way through to those that love a good bit of fun in upper primary. With the growing popularity of graphic novels, this will be a welcome addition to Australian school libraries.
