This is a follow up to the wonderful Huda and Me, that featured in our 2021 Lamont Standing Order.
Huda is back, and together with her favourite brother Akeal, they are getting into enormous trouble. But not for nothing!
Her Dad’s job as the local security officer ended when his bosses decided that he was no longer needed, as there is no crime in their neighbourhood.
Their family struggles, but this only gets worse when her Dad finally gets a job - on the other side of the country. They all miss him so much that they decide to take things into their own hands, by going out at night and creating mischief. Or are they actually committing crimes?
In typical Huda fashion, she uncovers a plot by her Dad’s bosses and a policeman that has them pocketing the money that was saved when her Dad lost his job. Can Huda save the day?
