Luna loves books and the library and Ms Sunny, the school librarian, is her favourite teacher. All that Luna wants this year is to be the library monitor or ‘Little Librarian’.
Luna is passionate and enthusiastic, but her racing mind also means that she has trouble focusing. So her mum gives her diary to record her thoughts – hoping this will help her.
It is through her journal entries that we learn of the battle that is about to play out for the role of library monitor for her class - as her rival Jade Jones, who also loves the library, wants the role too.
When Miss Sunny sets the girls three challenges to decide who will it will be, they are both determined to win. Can they overcome the issues from the year before and work together? Or will their differences get in the way, meaning neither of them get to be the ‘Little Librarian’?
