Review

You are the main character, a teenage girl who loves mathematics, in this choose your own adventure that begins in Italy in 1943 and could end quite quickly depending on your decisions!

But, more than likely, you will follow a course that will end up in Cooma, working on the Snowy Mountain Hydro-Electric scheme.

It begins as Charlie, an Australian pilot parachutes down in the Italian countryside and you and your cousin Maria discover him and help him hide.

At the end of the war, Maria decides to follow Charlie to Australia and you follow soon after. With many decisions to make, this book is full of adventure and is set in an important time in world history and Australia’s further development as a migrant nation.

A great story for upper primary and lower secondary readers.
