Eleven-year-old Neeka Wilder has always loved animals. She wants to be a vet one day, like her mum who is the head vet at Wilder Zoo - where Neeka and her family live!
Neeka is a great help to the zoo staff in caring for the animals. And with her two best friends, Rumi and Hudson, she also takes videos of exciting events at the zoo to spread the message about the importance of wildlife conservation.
When the videos are nominated for the National Zoo Association Awards, Neeka wants to make one more video that will help her win the award. But when Rebel, the cheeky red panda, won't co-operate, her zoo key goes missing and she's grounded for a month, creating a new video in time for the awards seems impossible ...

Animal lovers will thoroughly enjoy the first book in this new series, all set at Neeka’s family zoo.
Neeka just loves where she lives – at the zoo! Her mum is a vet, and Neeka knows that she wants to be one too. She spends hours there, helping the keepers and attending to the animals.
She also loves making videos at the zoo with her friends, Rumi and Hudson, and hopes to win an award at the Zoo Association awards.
But there is also someone new making videos at another zoo - Ranger Riley. Neeka is worried. She will have to come up with something special to have any chance of winning.
