Jack thinks he is clever, thinking up a rule that will help him avoid doing the jobs his parents want him to do around the house. But he hasn't outsmarted anyone - Grandma and Mum and Dad are going to teach him a lesson he won't forget.
Jack believes in his one rule. That when parents ask you to do a job, do it badly. That should get him out of boring chores. But he doesn’t seem to notice that his plans always seem to fall apart.
Maybe his family are on to his tactics and are teaching him a well needed lesson!
An easy novel with lots of illustrations that your emerging chapter book readers, 6 years and older, will find humorous and entertaining.
