Ratbags is a great new series of Australian graphic novels. Rats just want to be naughty and cause mayhem for their enemies - the humans. However our main character, Jigsaw, just doesn’t fit in with the rest. He never causes any trouble, he loves rules and he adores the humans.
When Jigsaw makes friends with some ratbags, he is drawn in by the alluring aroma of fresh pizza – and they soon have him helping steal pizza. But they are always being chased by Cracker, the most feared cat in the city.
When the pizza shop closes down due to the ongoing rat problems, Jigsaw decides that it is time to do some actual good! Can he save the day?
This is a great chapter book in graphic novel format that emerging readers will love. I’m sure they will be hanging out for the ratbags next adventure!
