Charley is 13-year-old singing sensation and her best friend George is a budding comedian.
Charley is making her first film and it’s set in Sydney. Her only conditions about making the movie are that George has to be on set all the time, and the set must be wheelchair accessible for George.
Soon after filming starts mysterious accidents start happening to Charley, and Charley and George think someone is trying to kill her to get the movie cancelled. As they start piecing together the clues more then one suspect emerges. Will they be able to solve the mystery, save Charley, and get her movie finished in time?
This is a wonderful and fun novel for all budding detectives. This is the second book by Adam Hills starring Charley and George, but it is easily a stand-alone story as I haven’t read the first one. Readers will love both of the main characters and soon get caught up in solving the mystery of who is responsible for all the accidents. This is definitely a page turner that I read in one sitting, and is perfect for readers in upper primary and above who love mystery stories!
