Containing many of the best features of graphic novels - with action, great illustrations, ancient mythology and good versus evil, this is a terrific book.
Based around the story of a quiet, bullied girl named Grace, whose father died of cancer. Fast forward three years and her new, highly driven step-father has taken them to Hong Kong for his job in a biomedical company.
Grace makes some wonderful friends at the International School, and when a dragon’s egg is given to Grace her life instantly changes.
This turns into a fun-filled fantasy adventure, where the bad guys are seeking her dragon, evil scientists abound, and our well intentioned teen heroes must band together with their dragon friends to maintain world balance.
An easy and appealing graphic novel that is suited to upper primary and lower secondary readers.
