Hamsa’s class is having a hackathon, but she has no idea what this! When her teacher tells them they must work in groups of 4 to design, make, code and build their own idea, Hamsa finds herself in a different group to her usual friends. Can they learn to work together or will silly things tear them apart?
This is a brilliant introduction to coding and tech use all aimed at making girls realise that they can change the world. Aimed at Year 5 and 6 girls, this book is designed to stimulate your imagination and inspire you to have a go, even if you don’t understand all the strange words and acronyms used!
It is also a story of friendship and friendship groups that don’t always stay the same. It’s about finding people who let you be your true self and being ok with making mistakes as you grow up and learn about life.
Thoroughly enjoyable story, and will hopefully inspire more girls to take up the STEM challenge and make the world a better place for everyone.
