Meet siblings, Page and Turner. The New York Public Library has always been their favourite place, but lately things have become weird . . . things like a dragon imprint on the ceiling and a giant beanstalk! It turns out that the books are bursting with magic, and suddenly all sorts of villains are escaping from their books and threatening to destroy the whole library. Now it’s up to Page and Turner— as well as a mysterious Night Librarian and a motley crew of escaped storybook characters—to save this beloved library from destruction before it’s too late!
Twins, Page and Turner, have always loved the library. With their parents now travelling for work more than ever, they are left in the care of a nanny – who likes to go on vacation whenshe is supposed to be looking after them. But rather than tell their parents, the twins relish their sort-of freedom (their parents can still track them) and spend their time at the one place they are allowed to be – the library!
But there are very strange things happening at the library. Could it have something to do with the extremely rare copy of Dracula, belonging to their father, that they took with them to the library - and then lost?
This is a magical adventure that book loving children will thoroughly enjoy. With many famous characters making an appearance, can the twins (who certainly don’t always see eye to eye) work together to help the Night Librarian restore order before their beloved library is destroyed?
A great graphic novel for all those in middle primary and above.
