Written by real life comedian and magician, debut author Nick Mohammed introduces us to a group of young magicians keen to join ‘The Magic Circle’, a society of magicians.
But all is not what it seems as the society is poorly run and in ruins, both financially and physically. They also don’t seem to want children in their midst.
However, our four young magicians, using their individual magic powers, take us on an entertaining magic journey to solve crimes and force the society into the modern age.
A fast paced story, with heaps of action scenes and lots of gags and humour to keep you turning pages. It is also the first in a series that many will look forward to future instalments of.
All in all, an excellent read for those about 10 and older, whether they are into magic or not.
