Page has always been a bit of an outcast, but this was made so much worse when the mysterious death of a teacher at her old school left her only friend believing that she was some sort of monster. Which was unfair to Page really - surely the teacher could have spontaneously combusted, just like the newspapers suggested?
Now she finds herself shipped off to the remote Scottish moorlands to attend the exclusive Agathion College - normally reserved for wayward children of the rich and famous. She is on a full scholarship and can’t understand why they want her here at all. Page has always been a high achieving student but finds that she needs to catch up, particularly on her Ancient Greek readings that Agathion has based its entire philosophy around. And although she makes friends with an group of students, they are hiding something too - a secret societ, that they don’t really trust her to join...
But so much is happening at Agathion that is tied up with the dark arts, and with Page and her impending birthday on the 1st of November. Could she really carry magic that can control demons?
