Four children separated by vast distances all undergo the same ritual watched by cloaked strangers. In Erdas when each child comes of age they are given the special nectar to see if they have a spirit animal. If they do, they will have incredible power.
Four children with no connection, Conor, Abeke, Meilin and Rollan, all summon a spirit animal when it is their turn to have the nectar. But they have not just summoned any spirit animals - the four of them have all summoned great beasts from the past. A wolf, leopard, panda and falcon.
Although at the time they do not realise it, they are now linked and must try to save Erdas from the dark force that is trying to destroy them all.
This story is full of magical action and adventure and is sure to be enjoyed by both boys and girls, in middle to upper primary.
