Willa has three best friends. Tae is her best same-age friend, Woof is her four-legged best friend, and Frank is her best old-age friend and he lives in the retirement village next door.
Frank loves pigeons and his last one, Mimi, is missing. Willa thinks she may be the reason as she is pretty sure she left the door open. But she is determined to find Mimi before Frank discovers that she’s missing.
This is a brand new series by much loved author Jacqueline Harvey. It has wonderful characters that readers will love. Willa is fun and full of imagination, but always tries to be good.
It is a story of friendships that span many generations, and also how much we love our animals too. The Willa and Woof series is sure to be a hit amongst youngers readers who are moving into chapter books, and looking for a bit longer and more interesting stories.
